The leaves keep a deep, dark colour for much of the season and turn red in autumn. This plant is about 70 cm tall including nursery pot and comes in a ø19 cm pot.

It is suitable for a pot on a patio or balcony and as a specimen in the border, where the dark leaves stand out against green. Place it in sun or partial shade, sheltered from strong wind and harsh midday sun, in humus-rich soil that does not dry out. The maple is hardy and loses its leaves in winter.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0935/6430/5754/files/japanse-esdoorn-acer-palmatum-trompenburg-studio.jpg?v=1792255625
