Its leaves are finer than those of the well-known Monstera deliciosa. This plant is 60 cm tall including nursery pot and comes in a pot of ø17 cm.

It comes from the rainforests of Central and South America, where it climbs up trees using aerial roots. Indoors, give it a support or let the tendrils hang. A bright spot without harsh midday sun is best, though it also grows in partial shade. Let the top layer of soil dry out between waterings, which is often once a week in summer. Monstera is toxic to cats and dogs. It comes in a nursery pot; you choose a decorative pot yourself.
