The plants are 100 to 125 cm tall, pot-grown in a ø35 cm pot, and have dense, dark green needles that stay all year. So you have a substantial hedge from day one.

Yew grows in sun, partial shade and shade, which makes it suitable for spots where other conifers struggle. Plant 2 plants per metre in soil that drains water well, as it does not tolerate wet feet. It takes clipping well, even hard cutting back. Yew is toxic to people, dogs, cats and horses, except for the red fruit flesh.
