The Calathea 'Maui Queen' is a prayer plant with oval leaves striped in light and dark green. The leaves move with the light and fold up a little in the evening. This specimen is 35 cm tall including the grow pot and comes in a pot of ø12 cm.

Thanks to its compact size, it looks good on a side table, in a bookcase or in a bathroom with daylight, where the higher humidity suits it well. Give it a bright spot, but not in the sun. Keep the soil lightly moist and never let it dry out completely; low-lime water or rainwater works best. The prayer plant is not toxic to cats and dogs. You receive it in the grow pot; a decorative pot is sold separately.
