Exchanges and returns

Exchanges & Returns

Of course, we want you to be happy with your order. Not entirely satisfied? No problem. At XXLplant, you can easily exchange or return accessories and flowerpots. Plants, on the other hand, are a different story – read below to find out why.

Returning accessories & flowerpots

Are you not satisfied with your flowerpot or accessory? You can return it within 14 days of receipt. Please ensure that the product:

  • Is unused

  • Is in its original packaging

  • Is in the same condition as when you received it

Returning plants – why not?

Plants are living products. This means they are sensitive to light, temperature, humidity, and care. As soon as a plant leaves our warehouse, we no longer have control over the conditions it enters. To guarantee the health of our plants and to prevent waste, plants cannot be returned or exchanged.

In addition:

  • Every plant is unique and may differ slightly from the photo

  • Shipping stress can temporarily affect the appearance of a plant

  • We pack our plants with the utmost care to get them to you healthy

Are you in doubt about a plant before purchase? Feel free to contact us. We are happy to help you with personal advice or extra photos.

Problem with your plant? This is how we solve it

Plants are not returnable, but we will not leave you with transit damage. Has your plant been damaged during transport? Please report it within 14 days of receipt via klantenservice@xxlplant.com:

  • Send a photo of the entire plant clearly showing the damage (and a photo with a tape measure if you are unsure about the size).
  • State your order number.

In case of demonstrable transit damage, we will arrange a replacement free of charge. This way, you can also order a large plant with peace of mind.

How do returns work?

  1. Send an email to klantenservice@xxlplant.com with your order number and what you wish to return.

  2. We will send you instructions and the return address.

  3. As soon as we receive the product in good condition, we will refund you within 5 working days via the original payment method.

The costs for return shipping are at your own expense.
