Does a pot or artificial plant not suit your interior after all? Send it back within 14 days. We can't take back living plants. Below you can read why, and how returns work.
What can you return?
Artificial plants, pots and accessories: yes
You can return artificial plants, decorative pots, planters and accessories within 14 days of receiving them, no reason needed. You may unpack and inspect the product as you would in a shop. Please return it in its original packaging if possible.
Plants: no
Living plants decline in quality quickly after shipping. That's why the right of withdrawal doesn't apply to living plants (Article 6:230p(f) of the Dutch Civil Code). If your plant isn't in good condition on arrival, we'll of course sort that out.
Did your plant arrive damaged? Then you don't need to send it back. Let us know as soon as possible with a few photos, and we'll send a free replacement. How to report damage.
How to return a pot or accessory
Let us know within 14 days of receiving your orderEmail info@xxlplant.com with your order number and what you're returning. You can also use the model form at the bottom of this page. If your order arrives in several shipments, the 14 days count from the day you receive the last shipment.
You'll get the return addressWe'll email you the address to send the product to within one working day.
Send the product back within 14 days of letting us knowPack it well, preferably in the original box, and keep proof of postage.
You'll get your money backAs soon as we receive the product, we'll refund you via your original payment method.
Return shipping costs
You cover the cost of returning items. Large pots that can't go as a regular parcel are returned by courier. That's more expensive; email us and we'll give you a price beforehand. Not sure about a size? Email us before you order and we'll help you decide.
Refunds
We'll refund you no later than 14 days after you let us know about your return. We may wait until we've received the product, or until you've shown that you've sent it back. It's usually much quicker: within 5 working days of your return reaching us. If you return your whole order, you'll also get the standard shipping costs back. If you return part of it, we'll refund any extra shipping costs that product cost you. If you've used a product more than needed to inspect it, we'll deduct the loss in value from your refund.
Exchanges
The quickest way to exchange something is to return the product and place a new order straight away. That way you don't have to wait until your return has been processed.
