The Kentia Palm is a hardy and easy-care houseplant, but it can still develop problems if cared for incorrectly. Common mistakes are easy to avoid. Below, you'll find the most common mistakes and how to fix them.
1. Too much or too little water
Too much water: leads to root rot and yellow leaves.
Too little water: causes dry leaf tips and brown edges.
Solution: Let the top 2–3 cm of soil dry out before watering.
2. Incorrect location
The Kentia Palm can tolerate partial shade, but too dark makes it vulnerable.
In too little light it grows slowly and the leaves become paler.
Leaves can burn in full midday sun.
Solution: Choose a bright spot without direct afternoon sunlight.
3. Too much food
Many people think that extra feeding helps, but with the Kentia Palm it has the opposite effect:
Over-fertilization can damage roots.
Result: yellow spots or brown tips on the leaves.
Solution: only feed in spring and summer, maximum once per month.
4. Forgetting to repot
The roots grow slowly but eventually fill the pot completely.
If the plant is too cramped, growth slows and leaves dry out faster.
Solution: Repot the Kentia Palm every 2–3 years into a slightly larger pot.
5. Dry air and draft
Air from radiators makes leaf tips brown.
Cold drafts can damage leaves and cause stress.
Solution: Spray the leaves occasionally and avoid draughty areas.

Prachtige bananenplant ontvangen. Groot, frisgroen blad en duidelijk van goede kwaliteit. Hij werd stevig verpakt geleverd en kwam zonder schade aan.
De plant staat hier in op kantoor en geeft meteen veel sfeer. Verzorging is tot nu toe eenvoudig en hij oogt erg gezond. Zeer tevreden over de kwaliteit en service. Zeker een aanrader om hier te bestellen. Ik had 3 planten tegelijk besteld - alle 3 waren ze top.
De Ficus Lyrata is precies zoals verwacht. Mooie volle plant, gezond blad en netjes op hoogte. Hij kwam goed verpakt binnen en had geen beschadigingen.
Staat hier nu een paar weken op kantoor en doet het uitstekend. Duidelijke verzorging, geen gedoe. Prijs-kwaliteit klopt en de levering was snel. Ik zou hier zeker opnieuw bestellen.

Prachtige palm. Volle bladeren. 15cm hoger dan aangegeven (altijd goed). Geen dode punten, mooi groen. Werd geleverd in een op maat gemaakte kartonnendoos. Erg stevig - blij mee!
