Polyscias fruticosa, also known as aralia or Ming aralia, is a houseplant with fine, deeply cut leaves on woody stems. This gives it the appearance of a bonsai or a small tree. This plant is 75 cm tall including the nursery pot and comes in a pot of ø21 cm.

It looks lovely on a low cabinet, beside a chair or on a windowsill in the living room or office. Place it in partial shade or in a bright spot without harsh sun. Keep the potting soil slightly moist and preferably water little and often rather than a lot at once, as it does not tolerate wet roots well. It does not like draughts or being moved; it may then shed some leaves. Choose a permanent spot and leave it there.
