Pro: Three variegated varieties, each with its own growth habit.
Pro: Small enough for a shelf or desk.

Con: Two of the three plants are toxic to cats and dogs.
Con: Variegated parts burn in direct sunlight.

Details

Three young variegated houseplants: Alocasia Frydek, Monstera Mint and the variegated string of hearts. Each 10 to 15 cm tall in a ø6 cm pot.

Contents: 3 plants · Height: 10 to 15 cm (including nursery pot) · Pot size: ø6 cm

The Baby Variegata Mix consists of three young, variegated houseplants: an Alocasia 'Frydek Variegata' with arrow-shaped leaves, a Monstera deliciosa 'Mint Variegated' with mint green and cream markings, and a Ceropegia woodii 'Variegata', the variegated string of hearts with trailing stems. Each plant is 10 to 15 cm tall and comes in a ø6 cm pot.

You get three very different growth habits, which look good together on a shelf, windowsill or desk. Place them in a bright spot, but out of direct sunlight, as the variegated parts of the leaves burn quickly. Water moderately and allow the soil to dry out slightly in between; the Ceropegia can be kept the driest. The Alocasia and Monstera are toxic to cats and dogs.

Delivery

Shipping a two-metre plant takes more than a box and some tape. That's why we do it differently from an ordinary online shop.

How your plant arrives in one piece

Fresh from the greenhouse
Your plant does not sit in a warehouse for weeks. The grower only takes it out of the greenhouse after you order and prepares it straight away.
Packed securely
In a box made for plants. Plant and soil are secured and a protective sleeve keeps the leaves intact, so nothing shifts on the way.
Protected from heat and frost
Is it very hot or freezing outside? Then we add a cold pack or heat pack to the box, so the weather doesn't affect your plant on the way.
The right carrier for every size
Smaller plants are delivered by PostNL or DHL. The very largest plants travel upright on a pallet with a specialist carrier.
You know exactly when it arrives
As soon as your plant is on its way, you receive track & trace by email, so you can make sure someone is home and, for a large plant, someone to help carry it in.

Frequently asked questions about Alocasia micholitziana 'Frydek Variegata', Monstera deliciosa 'Mint Variegated', Ceropegia woodii 'Variegata'

The questions we're asked most about this plant. Can't find yours? Our plant experts are happy to help.

Ask your question

Which plants are included in the Baby Variegata Mix?

The mix consists of an Alocasia 'Frydek Variegata', a Monstera deliciosa 'Mint Variegated' and a Ceropegia woodii 'Variegata'. All three have variegated foliage with cream, white and green.

How large are the plants in the Baby Variegata Mix?

Each plant is 10 to 15 cm tall, measured including the nursery pot, and comes in a ø6 cm pot. They are young plants that will continue to grow.

Where should you place the plants from the Baby Variegata Mix?

In a bright spot without direct sunlight. Variegated plants need more light than green ones, but the light parts burn in bright sun. The Ceropegia can trail later, while the other two grow upright.

How often should you water the Baby Variegata Mix?

Water moderately when the top layer of the soil is slightly dry. The Ceropegia stores water and can be kept the driest; the Alocasia and Monstera prefer slightly more moist soil.

Are the plants in the Baby Variegata Mix toxic to cats and dogs?

The Alocasia and Monstera are toxic to cats and dogs because they contain calcium oxalate. Ceropegia woodii is listed as non-toxic. Keep the set out of reach of pets.
