Bugle 'Burgundy Glow' (Ajuga reptans) is a low ground cover with leaves in a mix of wine red, pink, cream and grey-green. In May and June short spikes of blue flowers rise above them, which bees love to visit. The plants come in a ø9 cm pot and are 10 to 25 cm tall on delivery.

Through runners above ground it quickly grows into a dense mat that leaves little room for weeds. This makes it suitable for the front of a border, under shrubs and in spots where grass grows poorly. It prefers partial shade, can also take shade and tolerates almost any soil type, as long as it does not dry out. The plant is hardy and keeps its leaves in a mild winter.

How many Ajuga reptans 'Burgundy Glow' do you need per m²?
