Details

Set of 4 Fargesia rufa bamboo plants, 60 cm tall. Clumping bamboo with light green leaves, suitable for a hedge, container or balcony.

Species: Fargesia rufa · Quantity: 4 plants · Height: 60 cm · Pot: ø19 cm

Fargesia rufa is a clumping bamboo with light green, glossy leaves. You receive 4 plants, each 60 cm tall and in a pot ø19 cm. This bamboo remains compact and is suitable for a hedge, screen, container or balcony. Because it does not spread, a root barrier is generally not necessary.

Plant the bamboo outdoors in open ground or in a spacious container. As a general guideline, keep approximately 50 cm between the plants when creating a hedge. Water regularly, especially during dry periods and for a plant in a pot, and make sure the root ball does not dry out. The source states an eventual height of 1.5 to 2 metres.

Delivery

Shipping a two-metre plant takes more than a box and some tape. That's why we do it differently from an ordinary online shop.

How your plant arrives in one piece

Fresh from the greenhouse
Your plant does not sit in a warehouse for weeks. The grower only takes it out of the greenhouse after you order and prepares it straight away.
Packed securely
In a box made for plants. Plant and soil are secured and a protective sleeve keeps the leaves intact, so nothing shifts on the way.
Protected from heat and frost
Is it very hot or freezing outside? Then we add a cold pack or heat pack to the box, so the weather doesn't affect your plant on the way.
The right carrier for every size
Smaller plants are delivered by PostNL or DHL. The very largest plants travel upright on a pallet with a specialist carrier.
You know exactly when it arrives
As soon as your plant is on its way, you receive track & trace by email, so you can make sure someone is home and, for a large plant, someone to help carry it in.

When will your plant arrive?
