Het mag wel wat plant vriendelijker worden bezorgd. De plant kwam een beetje beschadigd aan. Door dat de bladeren op een onjuiste manier in de doos waren gestopt. Verder is het een mooie plant.

Veelgestelde vragen over Crocus Bulbs Large-Flowered Mix
De vragen die we het vaakst krijgen over deze plant. Staat jouw vraag er niet bij? Onze plantexperts helpen je graag.
Stel je vraagWhen do you plant crocus bulbs?
Plant crocus bulbs in autumn, from September to the end of November. The earlier, the better, because crocuses flower early in spring. They usually flower in February and March.
How deep do you plant crocus bulbs?
Plant crocus bulbs 5 to 8 centimetres deep, with the tip pointing up. Strictly speaking they are corms, with a flat base from which the roots grow. In a lawn, you can plant them in the grass with a bulb auger or a screwdriver.
How many crocus bulbs do you need per m²?
With a planting distance of 7 to 10 centimetres, you need about 125 crocuses per square metre. If you want a full carpet in the grass quickly, you can plant them closer together. Use the calculator on this page to convert your area into a number of bulbs.
Can you plant crocus bulbs in a pot?
Yes, crocuses do well in a pot or window box. Plant them close together and, if you like, combine them with tulips or daffodils in a deeper layer below. Make sure there is a drainage hole and keep the pot outdoors.
Do crocuses come back every year?
Yes, crocuses come back every year and naturalise well in grass or under trees. Only mow the grass once the crocus foliage has turned yellow, and they will keep spreading.
Are crocuses poisonous to cats and dogs?
Spring crocuses can cause stomach and intestinal problems in cats and dogs, especially if they eat the corm. Do not confuse them with meadow saffron (Colchicum), also known as autumn crocus, which is much more poisonous.
