Details

Species: Codiaeum variegatum 'Petra' · Height: 55 cm (including nursery pot) · Pot size: ø17 cm

The Croton Petra, botanically Codiaeum variegatum 'Petra', stands out for its firm, glossy leaves in green, yellow and reddish shades. The distinct veins make every leaf different. This houseplant is 55 cm tall including the nursery pot and comes in a ø17 cm pot. It brings colour to a bright spot in the living room, kitchen or office.

The Croton retains its leaf colour best with plenty of bright, indirect light. Water as soon as the top layer of potting soil feels slightly dry, so the soil does not remain wet for a long time. Avoid cold, draughts and major changes of location. With too little light or a sudden change, it may drop leaves.

Delivery

Shipping a two-metre plant takes more than a box and some tape. That's why we do it differently from an ordinary online shop.

How your plant arrives in one piece

Fresh from the greenhouse
Your plant does not sit in a warehouse for weeks. The grower only takes it out of the greenhouse after you order and prepares it straight away.
Packed securely
In a box made for plants. Plant and soil are secured and a protective sleeve keeps the leaves intact, so nothing shifts on the way.
Protected from heat and frost
Is it very hot or freezing outside? Then we add a cold pack or heat pack to the box, so the weather doesn't affect your plant on the way.
The right carrier for every size
Smaller plants are delivered by PostNL or DHL. The very largest plants travel upright on a pallet with a specialist carrier.
You know exactly when it arrives
As soon as your plant is on its way, you receive track & trace by email, so you can make sure someone is home and, for a large plant, someone to help carry it in.
