Het mag wel wat plant vriendelijker worden bezorgd. De plant kwam een beetje beschadigd aan. Door dat de bladeren op een onjuiste manier in de doos waren gestopt. Verder is het een mooie plant.

Veelgestelde vragen over Freesia bulbs Double mix
De vragen die we het vaakst krijgen over deze plant. Staat jouw vraag er niet bij? Onze plantexperts helpen je graag.
Stel je vraagWhen do you plant freesia bulbs?
Plant freesia bulbs in spring, in April and May, once there is no more night frost. They then flower in summer, from July into September.
How deep do you plant freesia bulbs?
Plant freesia bulbs about 5 centimetres deep, with the tip pointing up. They are small corms, so they do not need to go deep.
How many freesia bulbs do you need per m²?
With a planting distance of 8 to 10 centimetres, you need about 120 freesias per square metre. Use the calculator on this page to convert your area into a number of bulbs.
Can you plant freesia bulbs in a pot?
Yes, freesias do well in a pot on a sunny patio, where you can enjoy the scent up close. Support the stems with a few canes, because they can fall over.
Do freesias come back every year?
Freesias are not hardy and do not survive the Dutch winter in the ground. You can dig up the corms in autumn and store them frost-free, but they often flower less afterwards. That is why most people plant new ones every spring.
