Species: Acer palmatum 'Garnet' · Height: 55 cm (including nursery pot) · Pot size: ø19 cm

The Japanese maple 'Garnet' is an Acer palmatum with finely dissected, decorative foliage. This outdoor plant is 55 cm tall, measured including the nursery pot, and comes in a pot of ø19 cm. The leaf colour and refined growth make it suitable as a specimen plant in a border, by a terrace or in a spacious pot.

Place this maple in partial shade, where bright afternoon light is filtered. Water regularly so that the soil remains slightly moist, but prevent wet roots. Well-draining, slightly acidic soil helps the plant grow healthily. Feed in spring and early summer according to the instructions on the packaging.

Delivery

Shipping a two-metre plant takes more than a box and some tape. That's why we do it differently from an ordinary online shop.

How your plant arrives in one piece

Fresh from the greenhouse
Your plant does not sit in a warehouse for weeks. The grower only takes it out of the greenhouse after you order and prepares it straight away.
Packed securely
In a box made for plants. Plant and soil are secured and a protective sleeve keeps the leaves intact, so nothing shifts on the way.
Protected from heat and frost
Is it very hot or freezing outside? Then we add a cold pack or heat pack to the box, so the weather doesn't affect your plant on the way.
The right carrier for every size
Smaller plants are delivered by PostNL or DHL. The very largest plants travel upright on a pallet with a specialist carrier.
You know exactly when it arrives
As soon as your plant is on its way, you receive track & trace by email, so you can make sure someone is home and, for a large plant, someone to help carry it in.

When will your plant arrive?
