Pachysandra terminalis 'Green Carpet' is an evergreen ground cover for shade. It forms a dense, low mat of glossy green leaves that suppresses weeds and protects the soil. From March to May small white flower spikes appear. You receive young plants in a 9 centimetre pot, 10 to 25 centimetres tall on delivery.

It is suitable for spots under trees and shrubs, on the north side of the house and in borders that get little sun. It grows best in partial shade to shade, in well-drained, preferably lime-poor soil. In full sun the leaves turn yellow. A light trim before the end of February keeps the mat full.
