Details

Trailing Tradescantia with purple-silver striped foliage in a coconut fibre ball. Use the string to hang the plant in a bright spot without strong midday sun.

Species: Tradescantia zebrina · Ball: ø15 cm, coconut fibre · Plant height: from 25 cm

This trailing Tradescantia zebrina grows in a coconut fibre ball with a string. The purple-silver striped foliage grows over the edge and creates soft, trailing growth. The ball is ø15 cm and the plant is from 25 cm tall, suitable for a bright corner or near a window.

Hang the plant in a spot with plenty of light, without strong midday sun. Immerse the ball when it feels light and allow it to drain thoroughly afterwards. Usually, water is needed about weekly. This keeps the soil moist without the roots standing in water for a long time.

Delivery

Shipping a two-metre plant takes more than a box and some tape. That's why we do it differently from an ordinary online shop.

How your plant arrives in one piece

Fresh from the greenhouse
Your plant does not sit in a warehouse for weeks. The grower only takes it out of the greenhouse after you order and prepares it straight away.
Packed securely
In a box made for plants. Plant and soil are secured and a protective sleeve keeps the leaves intact, so nothing shifts on the way.
Protected from heat and frost
Is it very hot or freezing outside? Then we add a cold pack or heat pack to the box, so the weather doesn't affect your plant on the way.
The right carrier for every size
Smaller plants are delivered by PostNL or DHL. The very largest plants travel upright on a pallet with a specialist carrier.
You know exactly when it arrives
As soon as your plant is on its way, you receive track & trace by email, so you can make sure someone is home and, for a large plant, someone to help carry it in.

When will your plant arrive?
