Het mag wel wat plant vriendelijker worden bezorgd. De plant kwam een beetje beschadigd aan. Door dat de bladeren op een onjuiste manier in de doos waren gestopt. Verder is het een mooie plant.

Veelgestelde vragen over Lavandula angustifolia 'Hidcote'
De vragen die we het vaakst krijgen over deze plant. Staat jouw vraag er niet bij? Onze plantexperts helpen je graag.
Stel je vraagHow many lavender 'Hidcote' do you plant per m²?
In a bed, plant about 9 plants per square metre, 30 to 35 centimetres apart. For a low hedge, allow 3 to 4 plants per running metre. The calculator on this page works out the number for you.
When do you plant lavender?
The best time is spring, from April to June. The plant then has the summer to root before winter. Planting in September is also possible, in a well-drained spot.
Where does lavender 'Hidcote' do best?
In full sun, in soil that drains water well. On heavy clay or in a spot where water stands, lavender does not last long. A large pot with a drainage hole also works.
Is lavender 'Hidcote' hardy?
Yes, Lavandula angustifolia is hardy and keeps its grey-green leaves in winter. Winter wet is a bigger risk than frost, so choose a dry spot.
When do you prune lavender 'Hidcote'?
After flowering, in August or September, cut off the spent spikes. At the end of February or in March cut the plant back short, but not into the bare, woody part, as it sprouts poorly from there.
