Vinca minor 'Blue and Gold' is a lesser periwinkle with evergreen leaves marked with golden yellow. In spring, blue-purple flowers appear that stand out nicely against the light foliage. You receive young plants in a 9 centimetre pot, 10 to 25 centimetres tall on delivery.

It is suitable for shady spots under trees and shrubs, as underplanting in borders and on slopes. With its runners it forms a low carpet that suppresses weeds. It grows best in partial shade, where the yellow leaf markings remain clearly visible. It is hardy and needs little care: if needed, cut back stems that are too long after flowering.
