Vinca minor 'La Grave' is a lesser periwinkle with glossy, deep green leaves and strikingly large, lavender-blue flowers. It stays low, about 10 to 15 centimetres, and with its creeping runners forms a dense, evergreen mat. The main flowering is in April and May.

It is suitable for shady and partially shaded spots: under trees, between shrubs, on a slope or at the edge of a border. Once closed, the mat keeps weeds out and copes with a dry spell. It is fully hardy. The plant is poisonous if eaten, also for cats and dogs. You receive young plants in a 9 centimetre pot.
