Details

Eight plants with their own shape and character in a pot of ø12 cm. Varieties differ with each delivery, for several places in the home.

Contents: 8 plants (various varieties) · Height: up to approximately 30 cm (including nursery pot) · Pot size: ø12 cm per plant

The misfit plant box contains eight plants in a pot of ø12 cm, each with their own shapes and colours. These are plants with somewhat less regular growth or an unusual shape, with green or variegated foliage and sometimes flowers. They are up to approximately 30 cm tall including nursery pot. The varieties you receive differ with each delivery.

A way to add greenery to several rooms or places at once, or to give plants with their own character a place. Depending on the variety, some plants can also be kept outdoors in summer. Place them in a light spot, but not in direct sun. Water moderately, keep the soil slightly moist and adjust the amount according to the season and variety. The plants are supplied in a nursery pot; choose a decorative pot separately.

Delivery

Shipping a two-metre plant takes more than a box and some tape. That's why we do it differently from an ordinary online shop.

How your plant arrives in one piece

Fresh from the greenhouse
Your plant does not sit in a warehouse for weeks. The grower only takes it out of the greenhouse after you order and prepares it straight away.
Packed securely
In a box made for plants. Plant and soil are secured and a protective sleeve keeps the leaves intact, so nothing shifts on the way.
Protected from heat and frost
Is it very hot or freezing outside? Then we add a cold pack or heat pack to the box, so the weather doesn't affect your plant on the way.
The right carrier for every size
Smaller plants are delivered by PostNL or DHL. The very largest plants travel upright on a pallet with a specialist carrier.
You know exactly when it arrives
As soon as your plant is on its way, you receive track & trace by email, so you can make sure someone is home and, for a large plant, someone to help carry it in.

Ask your question

What is in the misfit plant box?

Eight plants with their own shape or colour, each in a pot of ø12 cm. The varieties differ with each delivery. They may include foliage plants with green or variegated leaves and sometimes plants with flowers.

Why is it called a misfit plant box?

The plants grow slightly differently from average, for example somewhat crooked or with a less regular shape. They are otherwise healthy and continue to grow in the same way.

How large are the plants in the misfit plant box?

The plants are up to approximately 30 cm tall, measured including nursery pot, in a pot of ø12 cm. Because the varieties differ, the height also differs per plant.

How do you care for the plants from the misfit plant box?

Place them in a light spot but not in direct sun, and keep the soil slightly moist. After receiving them, look up the variety name, as water and light requirements differ per plant.

Are the plants from the misfit plant box toxic to pets?

That depends on the varieties you receive. Some common houseplants are toxic to cats and dogs. Keep them out of reach until you know which varieties they are.
