Where should you place a Calathea Fusion Yellow?
In a bright spot without direct sun, for example by a north-facing window or a few metres from a south-facing window. A bathroom with daylight is also suitable because of the humid air.
How often should you water a Calathea Fusion Yellow?
Keep the soil slightly moist, usually once or twice a week in summer. Do not let the soil dry out completely, but do not leave it soaking wet either. Low-lime water prevents brown tips.
Is a Calathea toxic to cats and dogs?
No, calatheas are known to be non-toxic to cats and dogs. This makes them a good choice if you have pets.
Why is my Calathea getting brown edges?
Brown leaf edges are usually caused by dry air, lime-rich water or a pot that is too dry. Keep the plant away from heating, use rainwater and, if necessary, place a bowl of water nearby.
Why does my Calathea fold up its leaves?
That is normal. Calatheas fold their leaves upwards in the evening and open them again during the day. If the leaves remain curled up during the day, the soil or air is often too dry.
