De vragen die we het vaakst krijgen over deze plant. Staat jouw vraag er niet bij? Onze plantexperts helpen je graag.
Stel je vraagHow many Verbena bonariensis 'Lollipop' do you need per m²?
Plant about 8 plants per square metre, 30 to 40 centimetres apart. Planted in groups it gives the best effect. With the calculator on this page you can see how many plants you need.
When do you plant Verbena 'Lollipop'?
Plant in spring, from April to June, once night frosts are over. The plant then has the whole summer to root and flower.
Where should you plant Verbena bonariensis 'Lollipop'?
In full sun, in well-drained soil. It does well at the front of a border, in a pot on the patio and as edging.
Is Verbena bonariensis hardy?
Verbena bonariensis is moderately hardy. In well-drained soil it often survives the winter, but in a cold, wet winter it may die. It often self-seeds, so new plants come up in spring.

Leave the old stems standing in winter, as they protect the plant and give structure. Cut them back in spring when the new shoots appear.
