You receive two plants, each 25 cm tall, measured including the nursery pot, in a ø15 cm pot. The vines gradually grow out and can become well over one metre long after a few years.
How often do you water a Scindapsus pictus?
About once a week, when the top layer of soil is dry. The leaves curl slightly when it is thirsty, and recover after watering.
Where should you place a Scindapsus Trebie?
In indirect light or partial shade, for example a few metres from the window. In bright sun the leaves fade, and in too little light the silver pattern fades.
Is a Scindapsus pictus toxic to cats and dogs?
Yes, Scindapsus is toxic to cats and dogs. The leaves contain calcium oxalate, which irritates the mouth and throat.
What is the difference between Scindapsus and Epipremnum?
They are related genera that are often referred to interchangeably. Scindapsus pictus has thicker, somewhat matte leaves with silver spots, while Epipremnum aureum has glossy leaves with yellow or white markings.
