Details

Spiderwort with purple-pink patterned leaves that remain colourful in a sunny spot. Grows quickly and later trails beautifully over the edge of a shelf or hanging pot.

Type: Tradescantia 'Pink Paradise' · Height: 5 cm (including nursery pot) · Pot size: ø6 cm

Tradescantia 'Pink Paradise' is a spiderwort with lush purple and pink foliage, with a distinct pattern on every leaf. It grows quickly and produces more and more colourful leaves. This is a young plant measuring 5 cm tall including the nursery pot, in a pot of ø6 cm.

Place it in a sunny spot, such as a south-facing windowsill; this is where the pink colour remains strongest. Later, its trailing stems will hang over the edge of a shelf or hanging pot. Keep the soil slightly moist and give it some feed now and then during the growing season. The plant sap can cause skin irritation in people and animals, so keep it out of reach of pets.

Delivery

Shipping a two-metre plant takes more than a box and some tape. That's why we do it differently from an ordinary online shop.

How your plant arrives in one piece

Fresh from the greenhouse
Your plant does not sit in a warehouse for weeks. The grower only takes it out of the greenhouse after you order and prepares it straight away.
Packed securely
In a box made for plants. Plant and soil are secured and a protective sleeve keeps the leaves intact, so nothing shifts on the way.
Protected from heat and frost
Is it very hot or freezing outside? Then we add a cold pack or heat pack to the box, so the weather doesn't affect your plant on the way.
The right carrier for every size
Smaller plants are delivered by PostNL or DHL. The very largest plants travel upright on a pallet with a specialist carrier.
You know exactly when it arrives
As soon as your plant is on its way, you receive track & trace by email, so you can make sure someone is home and, for a large plant, someone to help carry it in.
