Platycerium bifurcatum, the staghorn fern, has grey-green leaves that branch like a deer's antlers. At the bottom are round shield fronds that grow against the pot or surface. This plant is 50 cm tall including the nursery pot and comes in a pot of ø21 cm.

In nature, it grows as an epiphyte on trees in tropical forests, which is why it likes humid air. A bright bathroom or kitchen is a good place, or a tall cabinet where the leaves can hang down. Place it in bright, indirect light and water when the soil is almost dry, preferably by placing the pot in water for a while. According to the ASPCA, the staghorn fern is non-toxic to cats and dogs. It comes in a nursery pot; you can choose a decorative pot yourself.
