The surprise box small plants contains three young tropical houseplants, each in a pot of ø6 cm. The species you receive vary with each delivery, and there are often plants with coloured or patterned leaves among them. The plants are 5 to 15 cm tall including nursery pot.

A lovely way to discover new species, for yourself or as a gift for someone who loves plants. They fit on a desk, bookshelf or windowsill. Most tropical mini plants prefer partial shade or light without direct sun, in a warm room. Water moderately and do not let the soil dry out or remain wet. Look up the species name after delivery for precise care. The plants come in a nursery pot; choose a decorative pot separately.

Shipping a two-metre plant takes more than a box and some tape. That's why we do it differently from an ordinary online shop.

Fresh from the greenhouse
Your plant does not sit in a warehouse for weeks. The grower only takes it out of the greenhouse after you order and prepares it straight away.

In a box made for plants. Plant and soil are secured and a protective sleeve keeps the leaves intact, so nothing shifts on the way.

Is it very hot or freezing outside? Then we add a cold pack or heat pack to the box, so the weather doesn't affect your plant on the way.
The right carrier for every size
Smaller plants are delivered by PostNL or DHL. The very largest plants travel upright on a pallet with a specialist carrier.
You know exactly when it arrives
As soon as your plant is on its way, you receive track & trace by email, so you can make sure someone is home and, for a large plant, someone to help carry it in.
