Het mag wel wat plant vriendelijker worden bezorgd. De plant kwam een beetje beschadigd aan. Door dat de bladeren op een onjuiste manier in de doos waren gestopt. Verder is het een mooie plant.

Veelgestelde vragen over Lavandula x intermedia 'Edelweiss'
De vragen die we het vaakst krijgen over deze plant. Staat jouw vraag er niet bij? Onze plantexperts helpen je graag.
Stel je vraagHow many lavender plants do you need per m²?
For this lavender, allow about 6 plants per m², 40 cm apart. For a lavender hedge, plant 3 plants per metre. Use the calculator on this page to convert your area into a number of plants.
When do you plant lavender?
Lavender is best planted from April to June, once the soil has warmed up, or in September. That way it is well rooted before winter.
Where does white lavender grow best?
In full sun, in dry soil that drains well. In wet, heavy soil or in shade, lavender flowers less and dies sooner.
Is lavender 'Edelweiss' hardy and evergreen?
Yes, this lavender is hardy and keeps its grey-green foliage in winter. For lavender, wet soil in winter is more dangerous than frost.
How do you prune lavender?
Cut away the faded stems after flowering. In March or April, cut the plant back to a few centimetres above the old, woody part. Do not cut into the bare wood, as lavender sprouts poorly from it.
