Pros and cons

According to our plant experts

Pro: Heeft geen water of licht nodig, dus kan ook op een donkere plek staan.
Pro: Blijft altijd in vorm en laat geen blad vallen.
Pro: Bonte ranken voor een plank of kast, ook te koop in een witte pot.
Con: Doesn't purify the air or grow like a real plant does.
Con: Collects dust, so you'll need to dust it now and then.

Delivery

Shipping a two-metre plant takes more than a box and some tape. That's why we do it differently from an ordinary online shop.

How your plant arrives in one piece

Fresh from the greenhouse
Your plant does not sit in a warehouse for weeks. The grower only takes it out of the greenhouse after you order and prepares it straight away.
Packed securely
In a box made for plants. Plant and soil are secured and a protective sleeve keeps the leaves intact, so nothing shifts on the way.
Protected from heat and frost
Is it very hot or freezing outside? Then we add a cold pack or heat pack to the box, so the weather doesn't affect your plant on the way.
The right carrier for every size
Smaller plants are delivered by PostNL or DHL. The very largest plants travel upright on a pallet with a specialist carrier.
You know exactly when it arrives
As soon as your plant is on its way, you receive track & trace by email, so you can make sure someone is home and, for a large plant, someone to help carry it in.

Frequently asked questions about Epipremnum aureum

The questions we're asked most about this plant. Can't find yours? Our plant experts are happy to help.

Ask your question

How do you clean an artificial Epipremnum (Scindapsus)?

Dust it now and then with a soft, dry cloth or a feather duster to keep the leaves looking fresh. The artificial Epipremnum (Scindapsus) needs no other maintenance: no water and no light.

How real does an artificial Epipremnum (Scindapsus) look?

Hij is levensecht nagemaakt, met de bonte ranken. Op een paar meter afstand zien de meeste mensen niet dat het een kunstplant is. Van heel dichtbij of als je het blad aanraakt, merk je wel dat hij niet echt is.

Will an artificial Epipremnum (Scindapsus) fit in a decorative pot?

The artificial Epipremnum (Scindapsus) comes in a plain pot (ø9 to ø15 cm, depending on the size). Place it, pot and all, in a decorative pot a few centimetres wider and the plain pot won't show. As it never gets watered, the decorative pot doesn't need a watertight base. Some versions are already supplied in a white pot.

Kun je een kunst Epipremnum (Scindapsus) buiten of in de zon zetten?

Yes. The artificial Epipremnum (Scindapsus) is UV and weather resistant, so it can also go outside, for example on the patio or balcony. The colours stay looking good, even in the sun. Outdoors, make sure it stands firmly or weigh down the pot so it doesn't blow over in strong wind.

How is an artificial Epipremnum (Scindapsus) delivered?

We ship the artificial Epipremnum (Scindapsus) well protected in a closed box. Delivery usually takes 4 to 5 working days. If anything is damaged on arrival, send us photos and we will sort out a solution.
